Black & White Yoga Mentor

I found that yoga training terminology is filled with special humor and irony too with all these gorgeous poses names (since in most of them you are in a really miserable situation) :

The cobra pose, The dog tilt pose, The bird pose, The child pose, The Tree pose, The cat and cow stretch....

But the most unbelievable one for me is the one that comes at the end of each session. Your teacher will ask softy at the end of the class to bring yourself to the "corpse pose"(lying on your back hands on the sides of your body) and prepare yourself to Savasana ( for "total relaxation").
Personally I found it kind of impossible, both to imagine myself as a corpse and relax at the same time. But while exploring my close environment - it seems that to my cat it's not of a problem to combine between these two modes.

since we had her she daily practices the "cat and cow stretches" a variation of child pose etc. like every "normal cat" (if there is anything like that........ and you are welcome to read my previous list about her The Thing About My Cat). But lately she ends it all with these "corpse poses" and stay that way for at least 30 minuets (unless one of us decides to touch her and check if she is still alive).

At least 30 minutes in a "corpse pose" daily
Completely - the wishful " let it go" state of mind.......

I think I realize something now - with all her black and white patterns maybe she is simply a holy Indian cow, that's it....... holy cow - she is a holy cow locked in a fat cat shape!........
